Hi everyone!
I'm Lionhearted, or just Lion. I just turned 17 (it's such a weird age, between childhood and adult) in March, and I'm a junior in high school, currently suffering through all the sh*t the school and government has decided to throw at us. I've been RPing on various ProBoards forums for around 5 years now, and I mostly RP animals, since humans feels kinda weird but I've done that before.
My hobbies include RPing, writing, tennis, and watching Netflix. I'm TRYING to get back into reading as much as possible, because I used to do that waaaayyy back in elementary and early middle school, when I didn't have a phone. Now I can't even pick up a book since I always think I could be doing something else, such as studying or doing something I actually like, like hanging out with friends or catching up on my TV shows. So if you have any books to recommend (especially in the horror or realistic fiction genres), I'd love to hear suggestions. ^^
Speaking of TV shows, I am in love with FX's American Horror Story. I agree that sometimes the plot's a bit eh, and other times it's kinda disturbing, but it's still really good and I highly suggest it. No, it's not as scary as its name might imply, and yeah, it's a bit twisted but that's the thrill, right? It's not gross-- my limit on horror is graphic surgical scenes (I can't stand the sight of seeing stitches in people), and so far they don't have any of that. I also like Family Guy, mainly for laughs-- I find it hilariously ridiculous, and I always prefer good old cartoons over anime any day (I find anime a bit... poisonous. I've resolved never to watch any of it after seeing the effect on my younger sister). Other shows include Wynonna Earp (just a fun Western/sci-fi) and American Crime Story (I've only watched one episode of the latter, but since it has Sarah Paulson in it, I'm determined to see it through-- what a brilliant actress!).
So yeah, feel free to talk to me about any of these shows, or anything else, really! I love to listen. c:
See you all around! Cheers!
