Starlingstar's fur is nothing too special. But one will notice its color right away, it is black. More like a tar black, which in the sunlight gets a nice sleek shine too it. Though with age it is starting to loose its shiny sleek quality. His fur is very thick for which makes it nice and soft looking.
Starlingstar is a tall tom, not large because he is quite lean and slim. His legs are long giving him most of his height they seem to stretch for ages. This makes Starlingstar and excellent jumper, and very swift. Because of his lean muscle tone Starlingstar is very light and fast on his paws. But his thick fur makes him have more of a larger muscle tone than he really has. Another thing is that Starlingstar's tail is quite shorter than for his body size due to an accident when he was an apprentice.
Zooming now onto Starlingstar's face there is one thing that you will notice is his yellow eyes. They stand out against his dark pelt because they are a pale yellow. Standing out they are one solid color a light golden yellow like some of the leaves in Thunderclan turn when leaffall comes. Other things are that Starlingstars whiskers are black like the rest of his pelt blending in and his nose as well. So his entire body is one color and his eyes are different which is why they stand out so nice.

Wise Starlingstar has been around quite some time and with this he has grown quite wise. Knowing things and giving his clanmates wisdom is what he is about. He knows his stuff and liked to help his younger clan mates find their way. He likes to think of himself as a father or grandfather to all of Windclan. He tends to try and make all his work into lessons for the others around him and have them learn from their mistakes.
Confident Starlingstar has always been a confident cat. When he was younger this came out more as of look what I can do and being more of a show off. But with time that has come down a little bit and even though he doesn't show off much he still carries himself high. He is always confident with the way he runs things and doesn't like others to tell him what to do.
Loyal Starlingstar has always been loyal. He is extremely loyal to his clan and will do anything for it. He gave up most of his young life to be the leader of this clan, with that he doesn't do well with traitors or outsiders being strict on the warrior code. He is one of those cats that you are loyal or not theres no in-between.
Blunt Starlingstar is quite blunt. Not sugar coating anything that comes out of his mouth all the time. He likes to be straight forward with all of his wording. Though he is right blunt sometimes when necessary he will sugar coat things but that is a rarity.
Grouchy Starlingstar with age has gotten quite grouchy. He tends to not really enjoy the young bubbly personality all the time. And slink off in the corner sometimes for just some piece and quiet. And he will tend to snap at others when he is in this mood.
Strong-Willed Starlingstar is very strong-willed, and doesn't like change too much. He tends to be strong on his ideas and it takes a lot for others to convince him otherwise. This makes him slightly stubborn but with enough work others may convince him from his ideas.
Disruptive Starlingstar likes his own opinion to outshine others. He tends to be quite disruptive when others are speaking mostly when its his name or clan on the line. He is not afraid to disrupt other cat when they are speaking.

Starlingkit was born in greenleaf with one other brother named Nightkit. Both toms were dark black kit, and at first they were identical. Growing up Starlingkit was more of the out going one of the two toms. Growing up in the nursery he looked up to the leader Thornstar. He was born 6 moons after she was made leader. He always wanted and dreamed to one day be the leader.
Then his apprentice ceremony came along. Him and Nightpaw were granted two warriors as their mentors. They were a friend pair and newer warriors. But that is where Starlingpaw gained his confidence. His mentor was fun and out going but has confidence with every step that he had. But Starlingpaw didn't like that his mentor was always flirting. He would get kind of grouchy at his mentor for paying more attention to the other things and not being focused. It was because of that Starlingpaw's tail was shortened. Towards the end of his apprentice ship Starlingpaw, Nightpaw and their mentors were out by the horseplace. Starlingpaw was hunting closer than he should have ben to the horses. His mentor startled the animal and stepped on Starlingpaw's tail. Cutting off the blood circulation Starlingpaw's tail slowly died and fell off at the end. Making it slightly shorter compared to his body size.
At the age of 14 moons Starlingpaw and Nightpaw were granted their warrior names. Starlingpaw received the Starlingflight because of his swiftness and excellent jumping skills. His brother was given the name of Nightfire because of his battling skills. Once a warrior Starlingflight took on an apprentice at the age of 18 moons. His first apprentice was a small she-cat named Ivypaw. She was loud and snappy and tended to say what she wanted. Even though Starlingflight had a bit of a tough time containing this loud, sassy she-cat he did give her confidence. He taught her all that she needed to know. She was given the name Ivyblaze for her personality.
At the age of 30 moons the tom received another apprentice. This time it was a shy tom. Starlingflight half a moon later, was asked by Thornstar to become her new deputy. Thornstar's deputy at the time was retiring to the elder's den. He accepted, little did he know that the leader was on her last leg as well. She had two lives left but she would not deny the request of her clan mate. She then choose Starlingflight because he was confident and train Ivyblaze very well.
Six moons later Thornstar had lost her last life. Though Starlingflight hadn't been her deputy for long he easily adjusted into the role of leader. At the age of 35 moon Starlingflight received his nine lives and became the leader. Though out his leadership things were going well. He it wasn't until at the age of 60 moons he lost his 5th life and his brother lost his life. It was a tough year for Windclan and the greencough broke out in the clan. He and his brother both grown quite ill. He lost his life and his brother had lost his entirely. Ever since that day Starlingstar has gotten more grouchy and closed off. Becoming more like the old tom that he is.
