Leopardclaw made his way out to the tall pines silently, intent on hunting. The fresh kill pile was low or maybe empty by now, he did have one of the last pieces before he left for the morning. He didn't wait for anyone else to wake up, preferring to hunt on his own or with someone he knew he could hunt with, someone that wouldn't be loud and annoying, but would focus on the hunt. He doesn't have an apprentice of his own so he doesn't need to wait for someone or try his patients with it. Probably because he was young at 26 moons or perhaps its because he doesn't have much patients when it comes to fooling around, or maybe both. Who knows.
For now though, Leopardclaw doesn't care about the reasons for not having an apprentice, he shut his mind down off of all that and focused on listening and smelling for what is around him. He heard rustling in the leaves before him, a few tail lengths out and crouches down low so that his coat blends in with the dead leaves and everything else. He watches as a squirrel carries a nut around and digs in the ground to place the nut there for later. He waits for the squirrel to turn its back and busy itself before taking off quickly and leaping onto it before the squirrel could dart off after turning to see what was coming at it. He snapped its neck quickly before dropping it and looking around and listening. He hoped that things were still moving and didn't hear the small scuffling of leaves and a cracked branch.
He flicks his ears when he doesn't hear a call to the other animals that a hunter is around before he buries his prey for him to come get later. Now he continues on his hunt, moving slowly and silently so that nothing can hear him and get spooked.

Amberflight Amberflight was already outside of camp this morning. She was out even before dawn, she snuck out for one simple reason. A kick to the head. She was still irritated about the whole thing. But it was hard to sneak past the sleeping cat sitting outside Thunderclan's wall. She just flicked her tail just mind coming back to the whole memory. She was sleeping perfectly in her nest curled up because lately it was getting more brisk at night. It was starting to change to leafbare. Amberflight really didn't like that it was getting colder but she would have to deal with it. But she did like one thing about the cold air coming in. The leaves. She loved the way they just changed color and fell from the trees it was the best time to be in the trees as well. She just smiled at the thought but then frowned because she was remembering the paw to her head too. While sleeping peacefully her large brother, decided to rear out in his nest and kick her head. She remembered waking up with a jolt and looked over to see her large golden brother still snoring. SNORING! She couldn't believe it.
So she decided that going back to sleep wasn't worth it when her brother decided to take up her nest as well. The white and golden tabby decided to get some early morning walk before having to do some other duties. Which she didn't know what yet for the day. She would have to go back to camp to find that out. Or maybe she could just hangout in the forest the whole day and do something crazy. But then again she knew that she wanted a full belly tonight and the only way to do that was to contribute to some warrior duties. She honestly believed sometimes the only reason they made her a warrior was because they wanted her two amazing brothers to be warriors and they didn't want her to feel left out.
Making her way through the forest she finally came upon the tall pines. It was just past dawn and she knew that only the dawn patrol would be out. But she stopped when she smelt something a few tail lengths in front of her. It was the scent of fresh kill. She just wrinkled her nose and perked her ears listening for the cat who would have done this. She knew it wasn't an outsider and it was a clan mate but she couldn't tell who. Thats when Amberflight padded over to one of the pine trees. She really didn't like climbing them cause the needles could be prickly but she wanted a better view. So up she went. The getting to a good height she scanned out on the forest floor. And thats when she spotted the hunter. It was a golden tom, black spots stood out on his pelt. She knew exactly who it was and well a smirk came upon her face.
Looking down she started to scramble down the tree. But with the dew of the morning the tree was slippery and her back claws slipped. She felt her weight being pulled on her front claws and she shrieked slightly from the pain that came in her front claws. She then caught her foot and was able to stay on the tree without falling but she quickly scrambled down the rest of the way with a thud at the bottom. She already knew from her shriek from earlier was loud enough to cause prey to be startled. But she didn't care as she examined her front claws seeing that the one was torn. She just grumbled. This day just keeps getting worse! She cried in her mind.

Leopardclaw keeps hunting, unknown to him that the cat he finds more annoying, for a female at least, watching him from the trees. Before she shrieks though, he is on another hunt. Another mouse, like the one after his squirrel. Crouched down, he creeps forward slowly and silently until he's about two tail lengths away, a good place to pounce from down wind too. Tensing his muscles he gets ready to pounce on the unsuspecting mouse but before he is able to, he and everything else out here hears a shriek from close by. Sounded like a cat in pain or trouble, but to him it just scared everything away and into hiding. He tried to pounce on the mouse but it ended up getting away, spooked by the shriek. Growing lowly, Leopardclaw stands up, his tail twitching in annoyance and anger before he turns around and starts off to where the shriek came from. He knows that he should be worried about the cat that did it, but he was just straight up annoyed and angry that now he will need to move hunting spots after making his way to camp. By then he will have lost a lot of time and it could be afternoon by then, sun high when everything hides from the heat. Getting the spot where the shriek came from, Leopardclaw is still in a mood. When he actually sees who it is that scared everything off he growls again, but loud enough for her to hear. "What are you doing! You just scared everything off!" His voice isn't kind. He doesn't care right now that she hurt herself, its her own fault for climbing the tree and not being careful. This is the one she-cat that he doesn't get along with almost ever and right now is one of those times.

Amberflight Amberflight's back was facing the big bad tom as he approached her. She just flicked her ears and looked over her shoulder at him. His yellow green eyes seemed to stare right into her body it was piercing. She looked back at her claw which was now bleeding and her white paw now had a small dot of red on it. She just gave it a quick lap to make sure there wasn't any dirt on it. She didn't want it to get infected after all. Thats when she heard the growl come from the large tom. It's more like he got kicked in the head this morning instead of me. The warrior thought to herself.
Thats when the harsh voice came up of Leopardclaw's mouth. She just felt her jaw drop and she turned her face away. She was somewhat hurt cause well one her paws bleeding and two he just said that to her. Which was totally uncalled for. One because a good warrior would make sure that a fellow clan mate was okay first before yelling at them. No wonder the big guy didn't have an apprentice. Cause he had no soul, thats why. She just then stood up and flicked her long tail purposely trying to hit him as she whipped around to face him.
There was anger in her eyes as she said, "You know what Leopardclaw, I tore a claw trying to get down from the tree. Would have said those nasty words if you came upon me lying on the ground seriously hurt? I don't think so! Maybe you should be concerned about your clan mates, because we both know I never tried to," then the get three words came out of her mouth louder and louder spitting right into his face, "ruin your HUNT!" Her voice slightly echoed off the trees for sure scaring off the prey if she hadn't before. She just shook her head and sat down again curling her tail around her paws and she looked away from him. He had no reason to be yelling at her, she didn't mean to do anything. Amberflight didn't like to be yelled at and she got enough of it from her brother she didn't need it from him too. But then again he was paying attention to her which she liked. So it was a win, lose kind of situation.

His words weren't harsh, not to him anyways because she did actually ruin his hunt by her shrieking. It was a claw, something everyone loses at one point and when he did all he did was hiss. Pain is pain, something that can be ignored if you wanted too and controlled when in a position where you know you shouldn't be loud about it. This is one of those times. The prey wont be coming back for a while now which leaves this area a waste of time for anyone that comes here to hunt or train to hunt really. And that was a pity because this was the best place to train an apprentice how to hunt. When Amberflight whirls around and whacks him in the face with her tail, he holds himself back from biting it to teach her a lesion. She would live from a torn claw so really he had no need to be worried over her like he would be if she was hurt harshly during a fight. Oh he would be kind to his apprentice, this she-cat just gets under his fur so easily because of her self-centeredness and her pride. Hes friends with her brother, the one that yells at her. Both of them are trying to teach her something, but so far it isn't working. "You tore a claw which is what everyone does at some point and you just have to scream about it to the world? Its a claw! It grows back. What were you even doing climbing a tree when the dew is still on it in the first place?" She was supposed to be a good climber so she should have known that the dew would have made it hard to climb up and down too. He lets loose a cold growl, knowing that whatever he said would get no where with her. She doesn't learn anything useful. He turns and pads away from her to go pick up the two pieces of prey that he left buried a few tail lengths away and then to the squirrel. He still wants to hunt, cool off his temper that she ignites so easily. Besides that, the clan needs it. Leaf-bare is coming and prey will be scarce then.

Amberflight Amberflight's just watched as the large golden tom just seemed to grow and grow. It wasn't in height that he was growing it was the anger that seemed to be pouring out of his whiskers like a river of anger. She could understand why because she did ruin his hunt. But she didn't mean too and well she was kind of ticked off that he seemed so concerned with his problem not to even glance at her bleeding paw. It was pretty minor a torn claw but she had seen some of them get really infected which could be bad. But she still wasn't looking at the large golden tom. Until he spoke to her once again about her torn claw.
She whipped her brassy amber gaze on him so quickly it wasn't even funny. There was just nothing but confusion in her eyes, though really behind them were was total understanding. She was playing the innocent card and she knew that it could possibly work. The pretty she-cat just rolled her eyes at him and said, "You know maybe I was trying to avoid your terrible attitude." Then she noticed as he started padding away from her.
She shot up and slightly limped getting used to putting weight her paw that was missing a claw. She got used to it and was able to catch up to he golden and black spotted tom. She just said, "I actually was scanning the area to not ruin anyone's hunt. I noticed that something was freshly killed and I didn't want to stomp right into someone else's catch." Then she speed up and stopped right in front of him blocking off his path. "So now you can put that terrible attitude away. Because I decided that hunting with two is better than one." She whipped around her extra long tail coming close to hitting the tom once again. She really didn't give him a choice but she decided that she would hunt with him to just get under his skin. She knew that maybe her pestering him all day would be more fun than going back to camp and actually getting assigned something else for the day

Leopardclaw has no reason to be concerned about a torn claw. It would heal and it would also keep her out of his way. Away from his hunt too. It would send her back to camp too. She could use her innocent gaze on other cats and it would probably work, but for him, it doesn't. It ends up making him more mad that she would try and use it when she knows she messed up. When she starts to catch up to him and speaks he just growls. She doesn't think. Not at all. "If you come across buried prey you go away, not climb a tree and see whos there. You leave. Go a different way." That is the smart thing and right thing to do. Not to spy. He stops in his tracks when she moves in front of him. He flicks his tail in irritation.
He growls loudly when she states she will join him in his hunt. "You will do no such thing! As you so pointed out earlier, you are apparently injured. You will destroy all chances of a successful hunt. You also pointed out it would get infected. Go back to camp." He almost snaps at her tail, almost wanting to claw at it. He would get an earful from her brothers and the medicine cat for sure, but if she tried it again, he wouldn't care.

Amberflight Amberflight just moved forward and pushed her way through the undergrowth. She though was well aware of the angry tom behind her but she knew that he wouldn't lay a claw on her even if he wanted too. Well one because she was his clan mate but two because of her big brute of a brother wouldn't let him do that. Though her golden brother was a sweetheart he could pack a claw if he wanted to. She just then heard him say something about going back to camp and she just glared at him over her shoulder. Because one he wasn't in charge of her and two because he wasn't in charge of her.
Then she micked his voice dropping hers low and scruffy. She puffed out her chest and said, "Oh but Amberflight, You just tore a claw which everyone does at one point." Then she smirked at him, going to herself a whiny voice, "You didn't have to yell at me Leopardclaw." Then she puffed back up and pretended to be him again, "Its just a claw. A claw!" Then she looked at Leopardclaw and said, in her sweet innocent voice, "Remember that scene a few moments ago. It wasn't that big of deal then so why would it be now." Then she moved circled back around him tail slinking close to his body just barely touching.
"Plus I understand how you would be concerned about me, Thank you. But heres the deal Leopardclaw." She stopped right in front of the tom and said in a harder voice, "You are NOT my mentor. You are NOT my deputy. You are NOT my leader." Then she growled slightly, "So you can't tell me when and where I should be. Considering if I doing my duty and hunting for the clan." Thats when she huffed and turned around and padded off deeper into Thunderclan territory for some prey.

Of course he wasn't in charge of her, though he kind of wished he was so he could send her back and away from him. But it seems that Starclan has cursed him with her annoying self again. He growls deeply and coldly when she gets in his face again, but when she starts to mimic him, he lashes his tail top slightly, other than that, there is no response from him while she does this. The line is drawn though when she starts to circle him and he feels her tail touch him. He tenses and his claws dig into the dirt, but he holds himself back from attacking her. He doesn't feel like losing his friend because he hurt the annoying sister. He also doesn't say a word to her. He cant. Not this time, he would say something that would have her crying all the way home, or it would piss her off so much she would just stay on him for the rest of the day. His best bet was to stay quiet and glare at her, and growl. It's when she leaves that he grows quiet and hides a smirk, not moving a paw step while she takes off to hunt more. Let her go run off. It leaves me alone with quiet and to hunt in peace. Scent of blood cant run things off now either. He thinks to himself while she races off. If she was smart she would have stayed to follow him instead of her assuming he would be going that way. Nope, he now turns and goes a different way.

Amberflight Amberflight headed in the direction of the twoleg place. He was so focused on making her point she forgot to make sure that her brute of a clanmate followed her. She just stopped and glanced over her should to see an empty spot behind her. She just flattened her ears and sighed slightly. The tabby she-cat just perked up her ears to see if he was near by but it was nothing. He had continued on his own way and didn't want to hunt with her. But maybe a little competition couldn't hurt. She just flicked her tail, listening around her.
There was the slight chirp of birds up in the trees. Tasting the air she caught the faint scent of mouse, but there was a stronger scent of blood. Looking down she saw that her white fur was tainted with dried blood. She could still smell it on her. She knew that she wouldn't be able to hunt with this on her paw. But going to the Sunning Rocks was the total opposite direction. She knew that maybe she would luck out on finding a puddle but it hadn't rained in many sunrises. That only gave her once choice. To head back the way she came which meant that she would run into Leopardclaw again.
Strutting off Amberflight headed towards where she last left Leopardclaw. Once getting there she took off in the direction of the river. She came across his scent and the next thing she knew she was following it. Until she came across the large golden tom in the forest. She just strode past him with her tail high and she said, "I guess I'll see you at camp then Leopardclaw, don't wait up for me ever again okay." But there was a hint of sadness in her voice that was genuine. She didn't like to be stood up and she knew that this tom was a complete jerk.

To be surpising, Leopardclaw would actually hunt with her if she grew up mentally and was smart about it. Not trying to keep attention all the time like he knows she is. He wont hunt with her otherwise unless a leader makes him in a group. Plus shes bleeding and the prey will smell it and know something is wrong and go into hiding after making a warning call to others. No, Leopardclaw can't be around her kit-like behavior. Continuing on his hunt, Leoparclaw sents the air, long ways from where Amberflight went off to, and smells a rabbit. Considering this was getting close to leaf-bare, it should be plump and all. He burries his mouse and squirrel he caught before he was interrupted then, grateful he is downwind, he stalks the rabbit, keeping his paws light and off things that make noise. Once he is close enough, he leaps and manages to get his claws into its back legs before it can take off on him as the wind changed a split second before he jumped. Snapping its neck with his teeth he looks around and listens before burring his rabbit by his other kills. He knows his limits of what he can carry at once and with the rabbit, perhaps a squirrel or mouse by the tail and that would be it. So he goes off to hunt once more, but soon is able to scent Amberflight coming up from behind him and he turns to watch her silently. He hears the sadness in her voice, but honestly he doesn't care much for it. It does her good to not get her way every once in a while, and him following after her and giving her attention would be just that. The sooner she grows up like her brothers, the nice he will be. He has to hold back from giving her more attention by speaking back to her and telling her he wouldn't wait up for her. She may be his bestfriends sister, but still, he is with the same mind as him, she needs to grow up some. He shakes his head and goes to pick up his prey, the squirrel and mouse hanging by the tails to easier carry the rabbit and makes his way back to camp.

ooc: Lol I did warn you that it would be hard for Amberflight to get his attention. Just keeps plot longer I think.
