pixMistheart carefully wwalked, making sure not to drop a single piece of the prey that she had caught. She made it to the pile and dropped it all with a sigh, her jaw aching slightly from carrying it all. It had been a good day forf hunting, she had caught a few mice, two squirells and about 3 birds. she had brought the birds back firsst along with one mouse, but she had still carried 4 peices of prey at a time. It was about mid-day and rather warm out. She turned and walked to a spot in the shadee, taking a break before going out aggain to hunt more. ShSe lookedd around camp, her eyes eandventually landingo n a group of kits playing happily. She missedd her kithood, however boring and painful and dangerous it may have been.

Hawkstar had just finished hunting away from his problems and apprentice again. She was an excitable little ball of energy, but she was also just a bit too lazy for his tastes. He had enough trust in her for her to bring her own prey back to the pile, but he wasn't sure if she would immediately go to her den to sleep it off. Oh well. The leader of Thunderclan looked over towards the nursery, and smiled slightly. Soon, his own kits would be like that. He dropped the mice and squirrel he had captured onto the fresh kill pile, and turned to notice Mistheart. He was the one who had named her Mistheart, and his mentor had named her Mistpaw. Huh, how odd.
"Hello, Mistheart," He greeted, trying to keep his sister's words about interacting with the clan in mind. "Did you just get back from hunting?"

Mistheart glanced up as she heard a cat approach to see that it was Hawkstar. While he hadn't been the one to accept her into the clan, he still helped her and gave her her warrior name not to long ago. "H-huh? Oh yeah, just taking a small break before heading out again. It's a good day for hunting." While Mistheart was rarely in the camp, every time she was she ended up talking to some cat or another, so rather she tended to spend most of her time out hunting. And even then she had plenty of interactions with other cats. Too many for her at least to say. She smiled kindly, trying not to seem as though she'd rather do anything than talk to other cats.

Hawkstar agreed with that statement, so he nodded to show off that agreement. He padded close to the beautiful she-cat, and sat down, ears still on high alert. After he sat down, back straight up and eyes gazing around, he realized he might need to continue the conversation beneath the tree. But what should he say? He wasn't very good at continuing a conversation about anything, even hunting.

Mistheart sat down as well, wondering what to say. She was also really bad at picking up conversations, but she could have a normal lengthed conversation if she was responding to what others say, so she decided to do just that. As an apprentice her mentor had always reminded her that she should always be grateful for every leader that contiually kept her in the clan even though she was born a kittypet, and she certainly hadn't been kicked out of the clan yet. "Thank you for letting me stay in the clan even though I was born a kittypet and not being one of those leaders that would hate my guts instead." She doubted it was something to thank Hawkstar for, but it was really the only thing she could think of to pick up a conversation. Besides, she was grateful, but thee gratiude belonged more to his attitude, not what he had ever acctually done, so she paused for a moment, thinking up a better thing to say.

Hawkstar didn't really know how to deal with thanks. Other than general embarrassment, which he was plainly showing. His whiskers were going back slightly, and his ears were going down on his head, and a slight laugh escaping his mouth. "No problem, Mistheart." He mewed, unsure of how to completely respond to that. "You've done a lot for us, that much is certain. I would never hate you." Hawkstar was unsure of how he would respond to other cats from the outside, but if they had proved themselves like Mistheart did, he was sure that he would grow on them.
He would still have to be wary. But Mistheart was a part of them. Hawkstar tilted his head slightly, curious as to how Mistheart would respond to his own statement. I just completely went on a thought rant, didn't I...

Mistheart ducked her head sightly. "Never will I be able to help the clan enough to repay for my still being alive." she responded, not sure what else to say, but still with a sense of truth and honesty in that statement. If she had been left out there alone, she would have died long ago. She had pondered this before and of that she was certain. She glanced up at the tom for a moment, curious as to what to say. "I guess it would be hard for you, always making the biggest decisions..." she muttered, more to herself than to Hawkstar.
