Maplepaw is a small cat, which is actually quite normal for her age of cat. She has a bright orange back and sides, and a long tail that has some white lines circling around the end. Her face is mostly orange, but a white leaf-like pattern extends above her muzzle, and from her muzzle downwards is white. Part of the orange parts of her face have dark orange lines extending outwards, but disappear as soon as they reach another white part of her head. Her eyes are a dark amber. All of her paws are white, exactly the white that's on her face, and are connected by her chest also being white-furred. Part of her belly is also white, but some of it has orange fur struck into it like a pattern.
personality:
Maplepaw is a risk-taking, ambitious shadowclan cat, usually the one to lead the charge of younger apprentices. She's kind to other cats, but this doesn't mean she'll treat them any better when training. In fact, she almost is always in training mood, therefore limiting her courteousness to letting other cats lead. She isn't a very curious cat, letting the limits and borders of shadowclan that was bored into her head as a young kit, and even when she is curious about others, she has a ton of self control, and is therefore able to reign most of it in. She's very trusting of her fellow shadowclanners, but that's as far as her trust goes: even the other apprentices she meets at fourtrees is usually one she wants to stick her claws into.
She's honest about everything she does, unlike her dear mother, and will outright say what she was doing. Her loyalty to Shadowclan may be like another, but she likes to take pride in said loyalty. She isn't a very romantic person at all, preferring to stand on her own instead of fall in love easily like other cats did. Like her mother did. She doesn't know how to handle other cat's problems unless she experiences it for herself, so don't go to her for your own problems unless you're willing to be brushed over or be given a rough opinion. She's observant of her clanmates, and she's really positive for shadowclan's future as the greatest clan of all. She's not very social, and is a more logical cat than most.

Maplepaw was born as Maplekit, the only kit that was born to her mother. Her mother was a white-furred cat, and very serious about the defense of her clan. However, Maplekit was never informed about who her father was, and neither was the rest of the clan. For a good reason: her father was a loner cat that had managed to woo her mother, and that her other siblings were handed off to said loner tom. As a small kit, her mother bore down on the basics of shadowclan loyalty, most likely desperate to forget about her mistakes. As a result, Maplekit learned to be observant of others and keep a death grip on her loyalty to Shadowclan early on. Maplekit started to grow eager to start training, wanting to become a warrior and protect her clan with her life.
She became Maplepaw soon after. Her mom is proud. However, also due to her mother's teachings, she doesn't like to interact with others, and is intent just to try and think a lot. In fact, so far in her apprenticeship, she's only talked to her mentor on her own, and has to have others initiate conversations with her. She talks big to other cats during gatherings... that is, if she had been to one yet. She hasn't, but she sure does dream to just to see just how the other clans are. She's been picking up fighting pretty quickly, and has learned to hunt.
