☀ SUNSTRIPE ☀
NAME: sunkit - sunpaw - sunstripe
GENDER: male
AGE: 7 moons
CLAN: shadowclan
POSITION: leader / deputy / warrior / medicine cat / apprentice / queen / elder / kit / loner
SHORT DESCRIPTION: short haired ginger and white tom cat.
APPEARANCE:
Beautiful orange and white tom cat. He's almost a copy of Brighteye in appearance, with the same eyes, height, and the orange and white pattern of his fur. Sunpaw's fur is short, but thick and soft to the touch. He keeps himself clean, hating when his white fur is discolored. Sunpaw is similar to his father in that he is spotted with orange and white blotches of fur, he'll grow to be a large cat with broad, muscular shoulders. He will find it easy to appear menacing in battles due to his size even though this appearance will not reflect his friendly personality.
Sunpaw has beautiful amber eyes similar to his father. His pupil is lined with a warm, as it travels toward the iris' perimeter it becomes a dark brown. He has small rounded ears painted orange, and from his muzzle to his eyes his face is covered in snow white fur that runs down his chest and under his stomach. He has a short tail that is tipped white. His back is painted a spectacular orange that looks like a brand of fire in the sunlight which earned him the name of "Sun". His orange fur is striped with a slightly darker shade than the primary orange, this will give him his future warrior name of "Sunstripe."
As a kit Sunpaw will appear small with a stubby tail, ears slightly too large for his head, his legs thin and clumsy. His paws will appear as though he has no claws hiding beneath the snow white fluff, he'll appear as an orange and white ball of fur. He'll grow rapidly, though never becoming as large as his father in height.
PERSONALITY:
Sunpaw is a friendly, optimistic and trusting tom cat. He'll grow up to be a charming and sociable cat with a good skill for dealing with younger cats - kits / apprentices'. Sunpaw is adventurous and likes to make friends where he can, he rarely believes any cat would want to hurt him, though he will grow out of this idea. He's confident in everything he does though remains humble. He won't openly brag about his own skills, and will automatically move the limelight away from him when he receives a compliment.
Though Sunpaw isn't perfect, he has a terrible memory and he will struggle to remember the correct forms when he begins his apprenticeship. He can be passive aggressive at times, he can appear rude if a cat who has wronged his family or speaks against his father sexuality, though he will only act this way with a reason he believes is valid. Sunpaw isn't a naturally aggressive cat, he won't begin any fights but will respond to a challenge with tooth and claw quite willingly no matter what rule is goes against. Sunpaw is loyal, to his family, his clan and his friends, he is also incredibly family orientated, wanting kits when he becomes a warrior.
Sunpaw is a friendly and optimistic cat. He could have a friendly conversation with a tree stump if he wished, he's an incredibly open and honest tom to every cat in his clan and always likes to have a positive view on situations. He's rarely down in the dumps or upset, Sunpaw despises the idea of others thinking of the worst outcome of a situation. Sunpaw constantly tries to be encouraging and optimistic, even about the worst situations, he won't allow himself to drown in his sorrows - no matter what happens to him. He is incredibly pushy about his optimism, especially with his family. He wants his siblings to be happy, his mother and father to be happy too. Perhaps it was a trait he developed from the unsettled relationship between his parents that caused him to create the illusions that everything would turn out well in the end. Though this is not always true, Sunpaw won't live the life of a fairy tale.
Sunpaw is adventurous. From the moment he opens his eyes he'll want to leave the nursery with all of his siblings and lead them on wild adventures into the forest. He won't grow out of this either, Sunpaw will be too curious and adventurous for his own good. Often exploring the twolegplace as an apprentice just out of curiosity of what lies beyond the fences, and he often finds himself tempted to cross clan borders without permission. If Sunpaw hears any cat mention and fox or badger on their territory, he'll immediately take it into his own paws and go right after to, to take it down - though these attempts will leave him with wounds and the guilt of being unsuccessful in his attempts.
Sunpaw is confident, he believes in himself though he won't openly boast about his skills, or his ideas. He's quiet in that he wants no cat thinking he believes his own skills are superior to theirs. He wants to be the best he can be and though he believes in his own skills and ideas, he will always remain humble, genuinely not liking when cats compliment him constantly, he just wants to be a warrior, not a leader, deputy or a hero of Shadowclan. He intends on living the normal life of a warrior surrounded by loved ones filled with cheerful memories.
Sunpaw is trusting. This can be seen as both a positive and negative trait. Sunpaws trust has no boundaries, he'll trust the worst rogue going, he'll believe whatever he's told quite willingly though this does not mean he lacks a back bone. His confidence allows him to speak for himself but his opinions will be heavily based on what he believes is true. He'll trust a hostile cat when they say they "won't attack." Sunpaw also has a terrible memory, finding it hard to remember forms and the warrior code correctly or cats names.
Sunpaw is loyal, mostly to Brighteye though he has an incredible bond with his siblings and mother,he will always sympathize with his father. He admires his father for his size and skill, wanting to be as brilliant of a warrior has he was. He'll defend his parents relationship with little provocation.
HISTORY:
faintfur [ mother ] + brighteye [ father ] = yarrowkit [ sister ] + nettlekit [ brother ] + lionkit [ brother ] + bluekit [ sister ]
Born to Faintfur and Brighteye as the second youngest kit. It didn't take a lot of time for the young tom to open his eyes and burst through the protected entrance of the nursery. He was ready to run into any den to unintentionally cause trouble. He will be aware of the imperfections in his parents relationship though won't know the details, and he won't discuss them with any cat other than his siblings. He'll be a healthy and outgoing kit, not a small size either.
Sunpaw is the kit who's known for running into Rookstars den a few days after he opened his eyes. His curiosity knew no bounds as he through himself through the lichen with wide eyes and his tail twitching excitedly behind him. There was a lot for Sunpaw to learn about his clan but what he didn't expect was to see the single empty nest as though one cat slept here alone. Sunpaw, thankfully was not caught by anyone other than his mother. Faintfur scolded him for escaping from her sight and eagerly jumping into their leaders den.
he was apprenticed at six moons and has so far been excited and determined to learn all he can from his mentor.
