foxpaw has short, sleek, reddish-brown fur with dark chocolate stripes and spots. he has a white muzzle and a tan underbelly, and long, sharp claws. he has a slightly-shorter-than-usual tail, tipped with the same dark chocolate color as his markings. he has powerful jaws with a killer bite.
his body is long, and slender. he has powerful muscles concealed by his thinness, but he will fill out with age. his shoulders are broad and his hips are narrow. he has large paws. he is a large cat in general, but not gigantic.
he has a narrow face - everything about it is narrow. it is more triangular shaped than broad, and his eyes fall flat at the top. his ears are large and pointy. his eyes are a chartreuse green, brilliant, intelligent and full of life. perfect for such a conniving seeming tom.
personality:
ambitious. foxpaw has great ambitious. he constantly talks about how he'd like to make it to be leader some day, but he also puts himself to any challenge set ahead of him. he likes to dream big. this may not be such a good thing, though.
short-tempered & fierce. foxpaw is very easy to upset, but he expresses his negative emotions more through anger than sadness. he has a fierce personality and a sharp tongue, which often gets him into trouble. he is very bad at border confrontation, because he will make threats to no end. he does not like being disrespected.
jealous. to go with foxpaw's short temper, he is also easily jealous. any cat winning the attention that he'd rather have, like praise, will instantly be on his bad side. foxpaw insists on having everyone's attention, and he'll get it - whether he has to do it positively, or negatively.
adventurous. foxpaw is adventurous. he likes to try new things (though it may upset him if he's not good at it automatically), and touring the territory was one of his favorite things to do when he first became an apprentice. he tends to drag his siblings in when he feels they should all go on an adventure together. note that foxpaw may leave the camp without warrior/mentors permission.
fair. despite being such a snappy-seeming tom, foxpaw is actually quite fair. he knows when another cat is deserving of attention - it's just that he wants it for himself. he also knows when he's being unreasonable, but he can't control how he feels.
competitive. because of how easily jealous foxpaw is, he is very competitive. he competes for attention and praise. it runs in his blood. he is even very competitive of his siblings, and during battle training, he may... get a little rough.
history:
foxkit, alongside his three siblings, was born to mousestep (a pale brown tabby she-cat) and tigerjaw (a reddish-brown tabby tom). they were the biggest lovebirds around the border, constantly fawning over each other and doting, all that mushy stuff. they raised their kits as though they were raising the stars, pampering and spoiling them, never raising their voices above a whisper. they were gentle with their kits, and ever so kind. foxkit grew to adore his mother, being fiercely protective of her. any time one of his siblings complained about how overbearing she could be, he would snap at them that they're lucky to have such a kind mother.
he was endlessly excited to become an apprentice. foxkit would practice his hunter's crouch on leaves, or his siblings, on occasion, and try desperately to impress his parents. when he finally became an apprentice, he was overjoyed. now, he still tries to win his parents attention.
