Sandpaw is a pale ginger cat, but she has dark ginger stripes that are on her pelt that are almost like rings that go down to the tip of her tail. Sandpaw's has a two white spots on her pelt. One is at the very tip of her tail, it looks like she dipped her tail in some white ink. The other spots starts on the top of her muzzle and goes under her chin, the finally stops at the her chest. On her forehead there is a mark in the dark ginger stripes that is a clear M shape. Her face is is very round. Her eyes are also round, but they hold a color that is a clear blue and it slowly fades into a darker blue closer to her pupil. Her nose is a bright pink that stands out along with her eyes. Her build is normal she has long legs for an apprentice her age, right now she is about the normal size of Windclan apprentice. Her paws are big which means that she will grow to be a large she-cat. Muscle wise she doesn't have much but this makes her light and quick. Her pads on her paws are the same pink as her nose.

Sandpaw is one of the stubborn hard headed cats that argues with everyone. It takes a lot to convince her to change what she is doing. She has a sharp tongue too that will snap at any cat that gets in her way. Sandpaw, is the total opposite of quiet. She is loud. It always seems like she is yelling at you when she is talking but she doesn't know it. It constantly speaking her mind, she doesn't care what anyone thinks of her as long as they know that's she is there and nothing is going to change that until she dies. The other thing is that Sandpaw is brutally honest. She will tell you if you look like crap or if you are doing something wrong. She doesn’t care she will just say what comes to her mind and it will always be the truth from her. Sandpaw loves to learn new things and has always been a fast learner. She hates it when cats give her corrections. So nobody would want to teach her. The way Sandpaw learns is by watching other cats and putting that into a way that she can do. This makes Sandpaw very independent, she tends to not want to use others for support.

Sandpaw was born with 4 other siblings. But her mother was very young and it wasn't until right before the kits were born that their father decided to step up and tell the clan that they were his. Sandpaw was one of the larger of the 5 kits, she was also given the color of her mothers coat but the build of her father. She looked like a lighter version of him. After the first night all of the kits were given names, she was granted the name sandkit because of her light ginger pelt. Her siblings were named, mousekit, tigerkit, spiderkit, and mottlekit. After the first night Spiderkit was too weak and died.
But from then on all the kits were healthy and strong. Sandkit being the large kit was always rambunctious. Always looking to get into trouble and she was always trying to drag her siblings into the trouble with her. But one day their mother Swanface decided it was time for them to meet their father. He was harsh but Sandpaw knew that he was trying to make them the best kits in the entire clan. She like that about him but she didn't like how it sometime he pushed them too hard and made her siblings upset. She wanted to be the big sister for them and tried really hard too keep Mudfang's attention on her so he wouldn't push her other siblings too hard. But she was a bit rebellious and he didn't like that all to much either.
Now all the kits have turned 6 moons old and the leader Starlingstar had given them their apprentice names and mentors. She's just ready to create some havoc for the clan now.
