NAME: tigerkit - tigerpaw - tigerfur
GENDER: male
AGE: 6 moons
CLAN: windclan
POSITION: apprentice
SHORT DESCRIPTION: beautiful tabby tom with pale amber eyes.
APPEARANCE:
a dark tabby cat with pale amber eyes. he has a broad and muscular build. as an apprentice, tigerpaw is a small cat, smaller than his siblings due to his rocky beginning as a sickly kit. as he ages he'll grow up to be a large and powerful tom. his greatest strength will be his physical prowess. he has broad shoulders and hips that make his impressive size as a fully grown tom. tigerpaw has powerful large paws with large pointed white claws.
tigerpaws face is angular and broad like the rest of his body, his nose is long and pointed, his cheekbones in relief against the rest of his face just below his eyes. his eyes are a pale amber, not as intense as other cats eyes, they are unimpressive and simple. the striking and impressive part of tigerpaw is his mass and power. his fur is long and smooth, his chest and paws a perfect white while the rest of his fur is striped like that of a tiger.
the base colour of his fur is a burnt umber, his stripes much darker and clearly visible, marking his head, body and tail. his tail slowly fades to black as it reaches the tip of his tail. his tail is unusually long, some would be surprised his name wasn't "longpaw" for his tail. his ears are long and rounded at the tip, his eyes and ears lined black.
PERSONALITY:
unlike sandpaw and mottlepaw, tigerpaw is quiet and shy, afraid of the unknown. tigerpaw is timid and uncomfortable in social situations. he finds comfort in his siblings company and is often seen to be relying on them to keep him comfortable due to his social anxieties. unlike most apprentices tigerpaw has severe anxiety, it prevents him from attending gatherings for fear of the large crowd. he does what he can to control what feels impossible, but doesn't always succeed. he finds comfort in physical activity, this young tom is confident in his physical prowess and skills, his anxieties least affect him when he is training, hunting or in the midst of a battle.
tigerpaw is an all or nothing tom, if you need him for something and he agrees, you will get only his full effort. same with relationships, tigerpaw will most likely fall for one she-cat and one she-cat only. he'll give his life to those he loves, making him honorable in a sense. he is incredibly selfless when you gain his trust though this will take time due to his shyness.
although tigerpaw is loyal to windclan, he finds no fault in other clan cats. he likes to make friends as much as he struggles to do so, he finds the wars between the clans to be confusing at times though he'll never voice this opinion. due to feeling as though the other clan cats are not his true enemy he will grow up to be a fair and just warrior who will talk before he attacks. if tigerpaw was to kill another, he would be ruined by the guilt unless it was completely necessary to save one of his own clan members.
tigerpaw fears outsiders, rogues, kittypets and loners. they are unfamiliar and new, he does his best to avoid them when he can. he is more likely to challenge a loner / rogue / kittypet with claws than an opposing clan cat.
tigerpaw is extremely family orientated, he wants kits and a mate to live out his days with. he loves the young cats of the clan and truly admires the queens for their strength and ability to bring life into the clans. it's something he's truly fascinated by. tigerpaw is incredibly loyal to starclan, he believes they helped his siblings live on even when spiderkit did not. although he truly believes in starclan, he will not fault those who don't, he will not encourage cats to believe as he believes it's a choice a cat should make alone on whether the cats in the sky exist, or don't exist.
HISTORY:
tigerpaw was born to swanface and mudfang, one of the five of their little. spiderkit, mottledkit, sandkit and mousekit were his siblings, they each suffered a rough beginning, spiderkit loosing his life in the end. tigerpaw was named for his striped fur, and for the strength to survive after tigerclan, he was one of the smaller kits, frail and sickly. as tigerpaw, and the rest of his siblings grew stronger and healthier, tigerpaw continued to worry for mousekit as his parents did. he was smaller than all of them and seemed to suffer the most, it truly worried him. tigerpaw wanted to become an apprentice with all of his siblings by his side, and he wasn't prepared to loose his brother, even though there was no immediate danger to her life.
as mudfang began to tutor mousepaw tigerpaw became nervous, fearing that the large and powerful tom would hurt him by mistake. tigerpaw would often be seen watching each of his siblings being trained by mudfang, watching with rising hackles as his father stormed off at every mistake they made. when it was his turn to train, he was reluctant. mudfang clearly wasn't fond for weakness, and in tigerpaws own eyes - he was weak. he was the most skittish of all the kits and part of him feared his father for his physical prowess. he would often go through the motions mudfang ordered, never disobeying his words intentionally so he could hopefully prove himself to not be as weak as he believed.
when tigerpaw and his siblings were apprenticed, tigerpaw remained nervous around his mentor having never truly exposed himself to the rest of the windclan cats.
