NAME: rainkit - rainpaw - rainsplash
GENDER: male

SHORT DESCRIPTION: a fluffy pale gray tom with blue-gray points, and a white throat and paws
APPEARANCE:
let's get this to the point. rainkit is nothing but pure fluff. his pelt is sleek and soft to the touch, as soft as soft can get. it probably competes with down, if we're being honest here. the majority of his fur is a very, very, very pale gray - it likely wouldn't be noticeable, if not for the white on his throat and paws. the white is snow-white, and his throat fur is fluffier than the rest of him, besides his tail, which is also rather plumy and soft.
as he gets older, his point colors become more prominent. they start out as a soft gray, not too much darker than the rest of him, but still visibly. his nose is especially dark from the moment he is born, as well as his ears, but the rest of him still has to grow in. by the time he's an apprentice his legs will begin to darken around his white paws, along with his face and tail, and once he's a warrior all of his points will have fully darkened to their smokey gray color.
rainkit has large, wide eyes that sparkle like the river. they're a deep, dark blue, and the reason for his name (besides his dark points too, of course). they are at first a much brighter color when he's a kit, but as he gets older, they too, darken, much like another kit's eyes would change color.
PERSONALITY:
rainkit is not short of the most boisterous cat you will ever meet. while he's not ridiculously energetic and loud, he's rather friendly and bubbly, if not a little naïve at times when it comes to reading others' emotions. he's somewhat unaware of the dangers around him and doesn't seem to understand clan rivalry ("why can't everyone just shaaaaaaare?") as well as he should. that being said, rainkit can also be a little oblivious to/ignorant of the warrior code, such as crossing borders and perhaps, even, romantic affairs.
he can be a little lazy at times, but is otherwise dedicated and wants to be the best that he can be. he's somewhat sensitive and is a bit of a sulker when he's upset. he might be a little hard on himself on occasion, but he drops this trait as soon as he's a ways into his apprenticeship.
