Briarheart is a cat with very, very thick fur. She also has a natural pudge to her, something that she isn't going to grow out of very quickly. Her fur is mainly a light brown color, covered in black and darker brown tabby markings all over her fur. She also has a slightly orange muzzle, and a definitely orange nose. Her ears are rather small atop of her head. Her chest is the only white part of her body, stopping just above her belly. Her eyes are a light green, surrounded by light cream fur. Her markings on her legs are similar to those of tigers.
personality:
-150+ words -
Briarheart is a quiet, kind she-cat, not known for any sort of sterness at any point in her life. She likes to flirt a lot with other cats, hoping for romance, though she has to tone down her flirty behavior during the gatherings. She knows what she wants, she just works towards it very slowly. She is trusting, a little gullible, and easily persuaded to do many things. She's not one to take too many risks for others, but she will take risks if it means pushing forward Shadowclan's legacy. She's a good cat to lean on when you have troubles, and does her best to understand others' situations. She's happy to interact with others, but she's not one to just go all out just to interact. She, however, doesn't really have a positive outlook on her own life, thinking that it might end in failure if she continues self-sacfificing, but these moments come late at night, and those restless nights of thoughts disappear in the morning sun comes up.
history:
- optional for kits ; 150+ words for others -
Briarheart was born as Briarkit alongside Owlkit to two older shadowclan warriors, and the two siblings were almost the exact opposite in personality once they learned to talk. Briarkit was a lot more outgoing, seeking out other kits to play with, while Owlkit was very withdrawn, preferring to imagine than to interact. Briarkit never really understood her brown tabby sister. However, as much as Briarkit interacted with others, she never got to meet any other warriors than her father, which never got her prepared for her mentor.
At six moons, just like most other kits, Briarkit and Owlkit became Briarpaw and Owlpaw, and Owlpaw's mentor was a kind, understanding mentor that understood space. Briarpaw's mentor was a strict mentor, that constantly beat down the warrior code and training times into Briarpaw's head, and that was the start of her becoming a bit more quiet. For the first two moons of training, she was still hopeful of being let up, and while the loyalty to her clan was something she did take to heart, her bursting outgoingness faded away with the late night training. While nothing extreme happened, she learned to be a quiet presence for others as her mentor forced her claws.
One day, while training, Briarpaw's mentor decided to unsheath his claws, and almost permanetely scarred Briarpaw's face. That was when Briarpaw was shifted over to Owlpaw's mentor, and the other mentor forced to care for the elders. It had already affected Briarpaw to become a bit more like Owlpaw, and Briarpaw tried to reconcile with her sister, but they never really got along in the end, just shared a mentor.
When their warriors assessment went and passed, Briarpaw became Briarheart because of her newfound loyalty to the code, and Owlpaw became Owlshade because of her skill of stalking at night. Briarheart, as a warrior, was the one to talk to the other warriors, while Owlshade stuck to the shade. But Briarheart is starting to doubt in herself, and doubt in starclan, though she doesn't voice these complains. Owlshade and Briarheart talk the most when it's night, when Briarheart loses sleep. Briarheart and Owlshade are only barely making up this past moon due to these late night talks. Briarheart really hopes to do a good job as a warrior for any future conflicts.
