☀ Moonshadow ☀
NAME: Moonkit - Moonpaw - Moonshadow
GENDER: Female
AGE: 94 moons
CLAN: Shadowclan
POSITION: elder/queen
SHORT DESCRIPTION: a dark gray she-cat with amber eyes.
APPEARANCE:
PERSONALITY:
Moonshadow is a very loyal cat to her clan and to her friends. Though she is quite quiet around new faces with her friends she is quite sarcastic with her friends. She is very encouraging of her friends and clan mates alway giving other complements when they deserve them. But she is quiet most of this time because when she is in a big group she tends to not throw out any ideas of her own. Even though she tends to blend into the background most of the time Moonshadow is quite impulsive doing what she wants when she wants to. She tends to not think before she takes action always "winging it". Though with all of this she is quite creative and can come up with new ideas very quickly. With all of this Moonshadow is a more lazy cat, tending to want to just have time to lay around and pretty much doing the bare minimum to get by.
HISTORY:
Moonkit is the only daughter of Lightningfur and Grayflower. Grayflower was a pale gray she-cat with bright blue eyes. Lightningfur was a handsome golden tabby tom, with amber eyes. Grayflower had a sister named Dewheart which was her adopted mother. Dewheart told Moonkit about her mother all the time. Only good things were said about her mother, never bad things. The day that Moonkit was born was a full moon. Grayflower was sick before she kitted and died after her one and only kit was born. Before she was gone she told the medicine cat that the kit’s name would be Moonkit, and then she was gone. Dewheart took the little kit in with her own, Flykit and Dark-kit. They were a moon older than her. For two moons Lightningfur visited her every day. She was happy with Dewheart and her kin Dark-kit and Flykit but she always had fun when her father came to play. Then she noticed after that he started coming less and less. Moonkit asked Dewheart why he wasn't coming anymore and she just simply told her. “Your father is very busy.” Moonkit believed Dewheart and waited for him to come back and play with her but he never did. By four moons she knew he wasn't coming back to see her. The closer she got to 6 moons she noticed more things like him completely ignoring her and then noticed that he wouldn't even look at her. By the time she was about 6 moons old she tried to convince herself that she really didn't care what her father thought of her.
When an apprentice she worked super hard to try to impress her father, because deep down she thought he still cared for her. Later she noticed that he was with a different she-cat from the clan. She then knew that he didn't care and she didn't want to believe it. Though she knew it was true. Finally she gave up and just tried to enjoy her life while she was happy. Because she knew that her father had moved on she pulled back on working hard, so she became lazy. Though at times she would need some time alone and she would go out into the Shadowclan’s territory and just walk around to hide here doubts from the rest of the clan. At the age of 12 moons Moonpaw was given the name Moonshadow because of her stealth skills in Shadowclan territory. She was known to be a good hunter and was very good at moving quietly throughout the forest.
Moonshadow was living her warrior live smoothly only having a few friends getting along with everyone in the clan but not close to anyone in particular. She was more of a shadow dweller liking to be by herself than in the middle of others most of the time. She was kind to everyone in the clan though. It wasn't until she was 20 moons old that Moonshadow made a true friend. It was with a warrior named Raggedpelt, he was quite older than her, actually 21 moons older than her. But that didn't bother Moonshadow that much because well he seemed in the dumps. She wasn't the one to go up to someone and be like 'Hey you look blue like lets talk', it just kind of happened one day when she ran into him by himself. She seemed to get it out of him without prodding that his father and bestfriend had joined starclan. Moonshadow unlike other cats was wise and gentle with her words but was harsh at the same time. She could understand what the tom was going through with out really a family of her she felt bad for him.
It wasn't long before Moonshadow befriended the older tom and started developing feelings for him. She didn't know if he liked her the same way. So they danced around for a while until one day Raggedpelt admitted how he felt. Moonshadow couldn't be more than over joyed because she felt the same way about it. It was great for her because for the first time she felt like she had some she could count on for life.
Then the day came that Moonshadow was pregnant with her mates kits. She rememebered the joy on his face when she announced it to the tom and the pregnancy went well and she gave birth to two beautiful she-cats. The first kit they named after Raggedpelt's sister Softkit and the Willowkit because Moonshadow loved that name. She was happy with her kits and she was happy because for once she actually had a family. Kits and a mate that would come to her for comfort if they needed. And Raggedpelt was the best father those little girls could dream of. Though she did have to pry him off of them once or maybe twice to actually allow them to grow up. But she couldn't be more proud of her growing family.
Once the two kits were made apprentices Moonshadow was more than happy to be back out in the forest. She loved being in the nursery raising her daughters but she knew that being a queen was not as thrilling as being a warrior and a few moons after her kits were apprentices. Moonshadow received her very own apprentice Yellowpaw. Yellowpaw was a very serious she-cat that well was the makings of a great warrior. Though Moonshadow was quite nervous about her first apprentice Raggedpelt was alway there to help through her doubts and troubles. Finally her kits were getting their warriors names. She couldn't be more proud as a mother that her family was growing up. She was so proud of her daughters who received the Willowfur and Softheart. She rememebered Raggedpelt almost knocking them over with affection and she just laughed and purred at her mate. She congratulated her own daughters, giving them affection as they became warriors.
Only a few moons later Yellowpaw gained her warrior name Yellowivy for her seriousness and determination. Moonshadow was proud of her first apprentice and was glad that she could relax and let her daughters do their own thing and she could enjoy her time with her mate Raggedpelt. She was glad that all of those moons ago she befriended the older tom. But thats when he was given another apprentice Sparrowpaw.
Moonshadow had noticed a difference in her best friend and mate, him and his new apprentice didn't get along. Though she really didn't talk about it much she had heard about his mentor being cruel and she tried her best to help her mate. But there was a day that the two flipped and became best friends. Moonshadow was glad that the two toms decided to get along but at some points Moonshadow couldn't help but to be jealous, because he did spend a lot of his time with his new friend. Though Moonshadow knew that Raggedpelt's best friend that was his father was also dead. She let the two toms be themselves and spent more time with her two daughters and her duties.
Its wasn't until the sickness came around that Moonshadow was worried about her family once more. It was Raggedpelt, his friend Sparrowcall got really sick and even though she pleaded him not to get too close he ignored her and went away to comfort his friend. She knew it was because he had lost his mother from this sickness but she still couldn't believe what he tried to do when his friend was almost dying. He was terribly sick himself and he went out to find cat mint. She remembered going to check up on him. He was sick after all but he was gone, Moonshadow was able to organize a patrol to go out and look for her mate who she knew would probably be out hunting for something crazy.
Thats when she found him on the ground she thought he was dead. But she was relieved when he was still breathing. Getting the tom back to the medicine cat she didn't want to be the one to tell him about his friend but she was too hurt to even see him. He had saved himself and many other of the cats in Shadowclan by bringing that cat mint, to the clan. She was more mad that he didn't think of her and their kits when he left, his family. She had already lost her first family but she didn't want to loose her second and he was the glue that kept them together. She remembered when he was sick she sent the kits to check up on him. She would only visit when he was sleeping still unable to get her emotions in check.
It wasn't until Softheart talked her out of it and Moonshadow finally was able to see Raggedpelt when he was wake, though now he was fully cured he finally realized that his best friend was gone. It was a rough time for him and Moonshadow tried to be there as much as she could. But with the clan finally getting back on its paws from the sickness she was busy with her own duties and training her second apprentice Heronpaw as well. She had a good and easy apprenticeship with Heronpaw the young tom being almost like Raggedpelt at times when she and him weren't in a rough patch. It was Heronpaw who reminded Moonshadow why she was mates with Raggedpelt in the first place. The young tom was refreshing after all the dark times and almost loosing her mate.
Heronpaw became a warrior and Moonshadow continued with her duties as a warrior. She herself was always kind and was a loving mother to her kits, and helped them when ever they needed it. Though Raggedpelt was more of a kit at heart than Moonshadow as they got older and she noticed more of the stiffness in his walk she didn't say much because he would refuse to head to the elders den. Plus she would miss the big goof ball when he left the warriors den. Moonshadow just laughed lightly when she had heard his last hunting story though she was worried for her poor mate when he came in limping. Though she couldn't get the bird out of his jaws as the younger warriors help him to the medicine cat den. She was relieved and thanked starclan that he wasn't paralyzed but she would go with him every day to get massaged by the medicine cat.
What did surprise the gray she-cat is when he talked to her about moving to the elders den. She was sad to see him go but she knew that it was the best thing for both of them. She herself wasn't just ready to go yet. The she-cat still has some moons left in her but she knew it wouldn't be long until she herself would join him without a question. She remembered when Rookstar thanked him for his service and she couldn't be more proud of her mate. She then continued with her own warrior duties.
Now Moonshadow is going to ask Rowanstar too allow herself to retire, but something is gonna come into Shadowclan that she just can't ignore.
Minteh Freshness KuwakiGENDER: Female
AGE: 94 moons
CLAN: Shadowclan
POSITION: elder/queen
SHORT DESCRIPTION: a dark gray she-cat with amber eyes.
APPEARANCE:
Moonshadow has a gray pelt. Nothing interesting about it, just a solid gray color from the top of her head to the tip if her tail. The shade of gray is a foggy dark gray that blends into the shadow easily. She is a short haired cat. Her fur is very sleek and almost looks shiny if hit with the sun light just right. Moonshadow’s head is shaped like a circle. The only things that break this circle are the two ears that sit on the top of her head. Her ears are normal sized for a cat. The inside of her ear and the outside are the same gray that is on the rest of her body. This is also the color of her nose; which makes it hard to see her nose. There are two things on Moonshadow's face that stands out. First thing you will notice is her eyes. They are round, her pupils are black. The rest of her eyes are a bright amber color. Which is lighter on the outside then the closer you get to her pupils the color turns into a dark brown. The second thing you will see is her pure white whiskers that are longer that her face. Moonshadow, is a very lean cat for Shadowclan. She has longer legs that are very muscular which makes her a very powerful jumper.
